Solution Sales Manager - Remote Work Available

As a Solution Sales Manager you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving growth for the company. You will utilize “insight” selling to develop a deep understanding of prospective customer needs and drive the sales cycle from lead generation to successful delivery by nurturing relationships and acting as a trusted advisor to the customer.
In your role, you will:
Develop relationships with people in various different roles within prospective customer organizations including business operations, technical staff and senior management
Engage appropriate technical support during the pre-sales phase to provide prospective customers, particularly those that have emerging needs or are in a state of organizational change, with solution advice
Demonstrate examples of solutions to prospective customers
Work with the development team to scope and deliver Proof of Concept/Proof of Value engagements with prospective customers
Respond to Request for Information/Proposal documents
Stay current on leading technologies
Support marketing events – user conferences, trade shows, webinars etc.
Stay current on what our competitors are doing and be able to articulate our differentiators
5+ years of experience in solution sales
Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Ability to actively listen to customer requirements
Ability to educate and work collaboratively with prospective customers
Mastery of complex sales
Demonstrated ability to learn new technology
Highly organized and detail oriented
Strong professional network that can be leveraged to create new opportunities
Experience with custom software development frameworks and technologies
Strong problem-solving skills
Demonstrated history of success in business development roles
Desire to continuously learn and improve
Professional services experience an asset
