CALGARY, ALBERTA (June 29, 2021) — VizworX, in collaboration with the University of Calgary, presented to NATO for the second time this month to talk about their proposed space awareness solution: the 3D Space Situation Awareness System (3CSSAS).
3CSSAS blends the latest in multi-source data, physical and predictive space environment models and visualization technologies to enable NATO personnel to easily understand the key space-related conditions that drive operational and tactical decisions. The solution combines several previous projects, including the Aurora X, Virtual Operations Environment (VOE), and Panoptica with leading UCalgary space environment research to create a Space Domain Awareness (SDA) solution.
The 3CSSAS proposal placed third in the overall competition. VizworX is looking forward to discussions with NATO regarding the next steps in developing the proposed SDA solution.
