CALGARY, ALBERTA (March 10, 2022)— VizworX is proud to have assisted Collection Science in its collaboration with Heritage Park, Canada’s largest living history museum. Energy economist and bestselling author Peter Tertzakian worked with Heritage Park for over three years to curate and establish a collection for the park’s Innovation Crossing building. StorySeeker features hundreds of energy objects on interactive touchscreen kiosks for visitors to engage with.
The installation also includes a number of videos, photos and media to help further illustrate history through technology and interactive storytelling.
“Working with Heritage Park on StorySeeker was an excellent opportunity to see the vignettes come to life at the Innovation Crossing place,” said Gaby Gonzaga, developer at VizworX and a member of the Collection Science team. "Merging the digital experience on StorySeeker with the physical experience at the park was an amazing experience."
The Innovation Crossing installation of StorySeeker includes a kid-friendly version of the collection, as well as a separate interactive visualization of the building itself for children (in collaboration with the team at Upanup).
